In the months that followed, series production began for a wide range of models; and from July 2020 it is planned to run the brand new vehicle type E-Tech 140 Hybrid with an R4 gasoline engine and 2 electric motors off the assembly line. The appearance of the fifth generation of the Clio has remained true to the design that the Dutch car designer Laurens van der Acker gave it more than ten years ago. Compared to its previous generation, the Clio V is a bit shorter and flatter overall. In addition, a longer wheelbase provides noticeably more interior space, and the trunk is also noticeably larger.

SPACCER® "Made in Germany"

In terms of suspension and driving feel, the Clio offers what you can expect from it as a small, agile city car; No less, but no more. With the patented SPACCER® vehicle elevation, however, much more is made of it. It enables the Clio V to be raised individually on the front axle and / or the rear axle. The Clio driver can choose from four graded ground clearances from 12 to 48 mm. The other unique selling points of SPACCER® include

The patented SPACCER® is a unique spiral ring made of high-strength special aluminum. The SPACCER® is custom-made for the individual Clio V based on the number of the chassis. This guarantees a one hundred percent accuracy of fit. The SPACCER® is anodized in the color black and therefore fits very discreetly into the Clio shock absorber. It ensures an improvement in wheel clearance on the one hand and ease of entry on the other.

The originally rather well-behaved city car gets a downright sporty offroad look with the SPACCER® vehicle lift. Installation is possible on your own with a little skill and ability. But it is also available in almost every workshop, at the latest at the local Renault dealer.
