New Mercedes GLA - EQ Power with plug-in hybrid

The brand new Mercedes-Benz H 247, better known to car enthusiasts under its sales name GLA, has recently been delivered to local dealers as a hybrid model as the successor to the MB X 156. The new model was only presented at the beginning of March with some delay due to the coronavirus.

As a hybrid, the GLA 250 e offers the engine combination of an R4 gasoline engine + electric motor. Plug-in hybrids generally combine two worlds in one vehicle. They drive electrically in city traffic and benefit from the range of the combustion engine on longer to long journeys. Optimization of driving comfort with SPACCER®

Word has got around that Mercedes driving comfort is in a class of its own. However, there is still a lot to be optimized on the GLA plug-in hybrid, such as the elevation of the vehicle by SPACCER®, the German car specialist from Illertissen near Neu-Ulm in Bavaria and Swabia. The SPACCER® is a patented lift kit, optionally at the front, rear or on both vehicle axles. To raise the GLA plug-in hybrid, you can choose from four staggered variants from 12 to 48 mm. If the optionally available rubber profile is pulled into the lower groove of the SPACCER®, another three mm are added. Together with the factory setting, this results in a ground clearance of around 20 cm. This has a particularly positive effect on the ease of boarding.
