Mazda MX-30 - Modern design, innovative technology, electrifying driving experience with an electric motor

Mazda Motor Corporation from Fuchü in the Japanese prefecture of Hiroshima, or Mazda for short, is launching the MX-30, the first battery-powered vehicle as an SUV, on the market these weeks.

The newly designed car was presented at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show in Tokyo Big Sight, the world-famous exhibition center on the man-made island of Odaiba in Tokyo Bay. The option of reserving the model as a First Edition against a deposit of 1,000 euros has been widely used since then. Much of the Mazda CX-30 presented in spring 2019 has been adapted; regardless of this, the MX-30 has been completely redesigned.

The technical data make you sit up and take notice!

The Japanese conglomerate Hitachi from Tokyo is supplying the 143 hp electric motor. The lithium-ion battery from Panasonic from Kadoma in the Osaka prefecture has a range of a good 200 km according to WLTP. WLTP stands for Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure as a globally standardized method for measuring power consumption in cars, also recognized by the EU. According to the NEDC, the ECE guideline for measurements according to the New European Driving Cycle, the mileage is a good 260 km.

Increase in driving comfort with SPACCER ®

This allows the level of elevation to be fine-tuned. At the same time, the shock-absorbing effect of the rubber increases driving comfort and dampens the noise.
