The Italian company Effedi is primarily known for the small truck Gasolone. This was mainly sold in the two classic models, the Gasolone FD29 and the Gasolone FD FD35. Both versions had a diesel engine and could also be purchased with all-wheel drive. The production, which started in 1988, ended after about 24 years, in 2012. The reason for this was the insolvency of the manufacturer.
