Located in Nottingham the automaker Middle Bridge Scimitar Ltd.. 1987 acquired the rights to manufacture the Scimitar GTE and GTC models. Scimitar (German scimitar) was a sports car model of the British Reliant Motor Company in Tamworth in the Midlands. The GT was a 2 +2- seater notchback coupe. It was followed by the GTE, a blend of station wagon and coupe. 1990 Middle Bridge Scimitar went bankrupt. The rights acquired by Graham Walker Ltd. the Scimitar models to this day draws to order.
