The Italian company Pinifarina for car body design and was founded in 1930 in Cambiano. The company designed and crafted vehicles for numerous manufacturers such as Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Lancia and Peugeot. The factory also produced cars in small series. Known models are modulo and Volumex. Pininfarina has also made a name outside of the automotive industry.
