Shelby Mustang was an American car tuner from Los Angeles, who rearmed and improved the sports car Ford Mustang in the 1960s. The first version of a tuned Mustang appeared in 1965. The Shelby Mustang was strikingly painted and was equipped with door sills and special valves. In 1968 the company was taken over by Ford. In 2007 Ford began the production of the Mustang again and there was the eye-catching Shelby Mustangs. Known models are Shelby GT350 and GT500.
